Euclid Protocol is Unifying Liquidity — Join Our Public Testnet Now!
If you want to go fast, go alone, if you want to go far, go together! We’re inviting Euclidians to join us in our mission to unify liquidity by participating in our testnet.
It seems like only yesterday we announced our intention to launch our testnet, that’s because it was — we’ve had a team of devs living, sleeping and eating code to bring this to you in record time. We’re in a rush, because unified liquidity matters. Now we need your help to make sure the journey is not just a fast one, it’s a successful one.
Liquidity, Web3 and the ‘Zero Sum Game’ Issue
There’s a reason why Georges Chouchani founded Euclid Protocol — the lack of unified liquidity is creating a crisis for DeFi. As Georges explains:
“Fragmentation is the zero sum game which is really hurting DeFi. 90% of the assets on-chain are sitting idle, failing to generate yield and facing higher impairment losses. The original premise of DeFi was exciting because of the unlimited possibilities it offered. Suddenly we could all have a stake in our financial future as a user or builder. Financial independence for millions was suddenly a tangible possibility.
What began with Ethereum as an execution layer has exploded into an ecosystem with hundreds of siloed blockchains, each one with its own confined liquidity within their execution layers. We need large liquidity pools but in reality, value gets locked in a small number of chains already enjoying network effects. This de-facto compartmentalization of assets reduces innovation, fragments markets and starves amazing projects from accessing users and funds. We all lose; builders feel obligated to use a small number of chains, users have less choice, and the pipeline of new apps is restricted.”
It’s solving this fragmented liquidity issue and unleashing the full benefits of DeFi that has led to Euclid’s testnet launch — the first stage in unifying liquidity. By harnessing the power of the community, users will help stress test our tech, while experiencing a glimpse of the future via our intuitive dApp. The more users that test the system and give feedback, the quicker the iteration will be before our subsequent mainnet launch. In short, Euclid needs your participation, now!
EuclidSwap Public Testnet — What’s ‘Under the Hood’?
Euclid’s pre-registered users will have the first opportunity to fully stress test the new EuclidSwap app — which operates as a decentralized exchange — shortly followed by general access to everyone. While features will continue to be added, our community can immediately experience our intuitive interface. There is no need to commit real assets at this stage — a faucet will be available for any user to draw down funds from for experimentation. Here’s some of the things you can do while earning points for future allocation:
- Select your preferred wallet — Leap and Keplr are available, with support for more wallets coming soon.
- Perform cross-chain swaps to a single chain, or multiple chains simultaneously.
- Add or remove liquidity from pools in exchange for LP tokens.
- Make swaps in exchange for voucher tokens. These can be used for swaps, or redeemed at a later date on any chain.
- Browse our assets interface — easily reviewing assets, values and trading options.
Tutorials are already available here — check out our blog page for updates. You can also join our TG channel featuring a dedicated support chat.
The initial cohort of chains integrated include Osmosis, Nibiru, Coreum, Neutron, Stargaze, Archway Aura, Injective, Persistence, Pryzm & Terra — with more added throughout the launch period.
Coming Soon: Test our systems — earn points!
Building a world of unified liquidity requires many hands to make it successful. Join the thousands of pre-registered users and help us make the vision a reality. Users completing tasks will earn points which will be redeemable as Euclid Protocol develops. Now is the time to get involved and be a part of the future of liquidity. We’re just getting started — as we grow we’ll be rewarding the most involved community members in our journey.
