EuclidSwap Testnet — The Story So Far
Launching a testnet is no small feat — it takes thousands of hours of development and millions of test transactions. Euclid’s journey has been no different. Our closed testnet welcomed 20,000 participants, providing invaluable feedback that helped refine our vision for Unified Liquidity. Their insights led to critical fixes, UI enhancements, and optimizations. Now, we’re ready to open the doors to our public testnet, incorporating all these improvements and more.
If you’re curious about what’s changed since our closed testnet, keep reading. If you’re new to Euclid and need a TL;DR — here it is:
EuclidSwap integrates seamlessly with any blockchain using Euclid Protocol’s smart contracts, offering users access to a broad range of assets through an intuitive interface. Our testnet is a significant step toward solving liquidity fragmentation and empowering the DeFi ecosystem. This next phase showcases Euclid’s full potential — seamlessly connecting liquidity across Cosmos, EVM chains, and Solana in a way that’s never been done before.
Public Testnet — What’s New
EVM Integrated, Solana Imminent
During our closed testnet, users operated within the Cosmos ecosystem, proving Euclid’s ability to efficiently route liquidity. But to truly unify DeFi, we needed to go bigger. With the public testnet, Euclid now integrates EVM chains with Solana integration right around the corner, unlocking powerful new capabilities:
- Swap any token from any chain — Cosmos to EVM, Solana to Cosmos, Ethereum to Solana — frictionless cross-chain swaps are now a reality.
- Exchange assets across major ecosystems in one click — Move tokens seamlessly between Cosmos, Ethereum, and Solana.
- Lower fees, fewer steps — No bridges, fewer transactions, and reduced gas costs.
Example:
A user wants to swap INJ (on Injective) for POL (on Polygon, an Ethereum L2).
Traditionally, this required:
1️⃣ Swapping INJ for USDC on an Injective-based DEX.
2️⃣ Bridging USDC from Injective to Polygon using a cross-chain bridge (incurring extra fees and waiting for the bridge to process the transaction).
3️⃣ Swapping USDC for POL on a Polygon-based DEX.
With Euclid, it’s now a single swap — INJ directly to POL. No extra fees, no extra wait!
EVM and Solana integration is just the beginning. Euclid’s long-term goal is to connect every major blockchain into a single liquidity network — Cardano, Polkadot, and beyond, making Euclid the most comprehensive liquidity layer in Web3. Where liquidity exists, Euclid will unify it.
Greater Liquidity & Smarter Swap Routing
Previously, swaps on Euclid’s closed testnet only checked liquidity within Euclid’s own pools. While effective, it limited price optimization and token availability. The public testnet brings major upgrades:
- Aggregated liquidity from external DEXs — Euclid integrates various liquidity DEXs like Astroport, Osmosis, and others for the best swap rates.
- Expanded token availability — If a token isn’t available in Euclid’s pools, the system automatically searches external DEXs for the most efficient route.
- Reduced slippage, improved execution — With access to deeper liquidity across multiple ecosystems, swaps are more cost-efficient than ever.
Example
A user wants to swap USDC (Ethereum) for OSMO (Osmosis).
Traditionally, this required:
1️⃣ Bridging USDC from Ethereum to Cosmos.
2️⃣ Sending the bridged USDC to Osmosis.
3️⃣ Swapping USDC for OSMO on Osmosis.
With Euclid, this entire process is reduced to a single swap without ever having to leave EuclidSwap’s platform. If Osmosis has the best price, Euclid automatically routes through it.
A Major UI Upgrade — It Looks Awesome!
A key takeaway from our closed testnet was the need for an even more streamlined experience. You shouldn’t need to be a crypto veteran to use our platform. With the public testnet, Euclid introduces a significantly improved UI:
Simple Mode & Advanced Mode
- Simple Mode: A clean, minimal interface for effortless swaps. Noob friendly!
- Advanced Mode: Full control over routing, liquidity sources, and trade settings. Degen enabled!
- Route Control & Transparency — Users can now select their preferred swap routes with detailed breakdowns of available options.
- Better Token Discovery & Search — With expanded liquidity integrations, users can easily filter tokens by DEXs and ecosystems.
This is just a glimpse of the improvements — experience them yourself on the public testnet and see how Euclid is making cross-chain trading more powerful and accessible than ever.
Euclid’s journey is just beginning. With EVM and Solana onboarding, our next goal is to connect every major blockchain — Cardano, Polkadot, and beyond — into a single, unified liquidity network. Wherever liquidity exists, Euclid will unify it.
